***AN ACCOUNT MUST BE CREATED AND WILL BE UTILIZED FOR ALL PROFESSIONAL LICENSING (NOW) ALONG WITH BUILDING/PERMITTING AND BUSINESS LICENSING (BEGINNING JANUARY 2024) GOING FORWARD.***
Before you begin:
- For EACH license you currently hold or will hold, the person creating an account and applying for the license, MUST be the current license holder (If renewing please see renewal letter for license holder and type).
- If the license holder is the same for all licenses, you may utilize the same login information to apply for multiple licenses, however, if each license has a different license holder EACH license holder will have to create an account and apply individually.
- If the name on the application does not match our current records the application will be automatically DENIED. The new online application will take the place of the paper application therefore we will no longer be accepting paper applications.
You’ll need individual scans of each before starting:
- General Liability
- Worker’s Compensation/Exemption
- RECORDED Bond (Must have stamp showing proof of recording from Lake Co., IN)
- License Holder’s Driver’s License
- IDEM Card for Backflow License
- Plumber’s Card for Plumbing License
- Plumbing Corporation Card (if applicable) for Plumbing License
- Lake Co. License & Receipt or City of Crown Point Test Results (if applicable)
