Adult Volleyball League
The co-ed and women’s Tuesday and Friday Night Happy Hour adult volleyball league includes eight matches plus a tournament. Tuesday session begins Oct. 10 and goes through Dec. 5. Tuesday matches played at Full Spectrum Fitness, 1516 N. Main St., Crown Point. Friday session begins Oct. 6 and goes through Dec. 1. Friday matches played at the Dean & Barbara White Community Center, 6600 Broadway, Merrillville.

Autumn Little Dribblers
Learn how to dribble, shoot, pass and more during Little Dribblers! This program is for children in pre-K through third grade. Pre-school and kindergarten session will be held from 4:30-5:15 p.m. on Fridays from Oct. 13 to Dec. 8. The first, second and third grade session will be held from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Tuesdays from Oct. 17 to Dec. 5. Instruction will take place in the Athletic Development Fieldhouse at Franciscan Health Sports Medicine Crown Point, located at 12800 Mississippi Parkway, suite A101.

Learn to Skate (Ages 3 and Older)
Learn the basics of ice skating, including balance, skating forward and backward, stopping and more! Class is held once a week for six weeks beginning Tuesday, Nov. 28. Skates are provided. Helmets are recommended.

Developmental Hockey (Ages 5-18)
Children ages 5-18 will learn the fundamentals of hockey in the Crown Point Athletics skill development and instruction program. There will be 20-plus practice sessions and games. Practice sessions held on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning Monday, Dec. 4. Games held on Saturdays beginning in January 2024 through Feb. 24, 2024.
Youth Hockey practice will not be held during the holiday season from Dec. 20, 2023, to Jan. 3, 2024.

Adult Hockey (Ages 18+)
Players must be registered with USA Hockey prior to playing. Each player must be 18 or older. Register as an individual or as a team. A team consists of 12 players. GOALIES PLAY FREE! This is a no-check hockey league. There will be eight games, plus a season-ending tournament. The league will begin in January 2024.

Girls Spring/Summer Softball Sign-ups
In 2023, more than 1,000 girls played in the Crown Point Athletics Softball Leagues. Step up to the mound this spring and sign up for our 2024 spring/summer league! Registration will be held online only beginning Dec. 1, 2023, through Feb. 9, 2024.
Referee and Umpire Opportunities
Baseball and softball umpires are needed for the Adult Fastpitch League and Girls Fastpitch Softball League. We also are accepting applications for ice hockey referees.
Sportsplex & Legacy Fields
The Crown Point Sportsplex (1313 E. North St.) has two synthetic turf fields that are available for soccer, football and lacrosse play. There also is a baseball field and nine natural, illuminated grass fields. For more information about field rental or sponsorship opportunities, please call the PACE Department at 219-661-2271.
