NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION

Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the City of  Crown Point, Indiana ("City") that the Common Council of the City will meet in the City Hall Council Chambers, 101 North East Street,  Crown Point, Indiana, at the hour of 6:00 p.m. (local time) on October 17, 2022, to conduct a public hearing and consider an appropriation in the amount not to exceed $3,000,000 for the purpose of providing funds for the costs of funding capital improvements to City owned property and facilities to improve the quality of life of the City's citizens, together with all necessary appurtenances, related improvements and equipment, and the incidental expenses in connection therewith and on account of the issuance of certain general obligation bonds therefor.  The funds to meet such additional appropriation are to be provided by the issuance and sale of such bonds by the City.

The foregoing appropriations are in addition to all appropriations provided for in the existing budget and tax levy.

Taxpayers of the City appearing at said meeting shall have the right to be heard in respect to said additional appropriations.
